I am an artist who uses photography as a means of expression and combine this activity with teaching college.
I am a photographer with special interest in portrait, nude and documentary photography. I am working primarily but not only with large format cameras. I am specialized in 19th century photography and alternative printing processes, including Platinum, Palladium, Van Dyke and Cyanotype.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and a Ph.D. in Fine Arts and have for many years been a Professor of Photography in the Department of Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona.
My current vision of photography revolves around the idea that «excess» is part of and is inseparable from photography itself.
